Sienna XLE AWD V6

rattle from 3rd row

The rattling was fixed initially by replacing the seat cushions. Brought it back when rattling came back and then they tied down the tire rod. Then the initial rattling came back and think that it might be with the seat connections to the floor. Noticed that some tape was on it when put the seats down one day and now it is worn off. The noise goes away when the seats are down, so it must be with the connection. Think that the solution should be to put a cushion inside the connection piece of the latch the seat has with the floor.

Sienna XLE 3.5L V6

We bought this car brand new in April 2013. Within the first week of driving it I noticed a rattling noise coming from the 2nd row. I took it back to the dealership and they said one of the captain's chairs was not installed properly. They took it out, re-installed it and the rattle went away.

Within 2000 miles on the vehicle I started noticing a squeaking sound. The sound comes and goes but more often than not it is always there. I have tried having my two kids sit in different parts of the car, my husband and I have laid the seats down, he has greased the latches, one of us has rode in the back trying to identify the noise BUT we can't get rid of the sound. My kids who are 4 and 6 will groan and make comments whenever they have to hear it back there. As my husband says it will make you want to rip your ears off. After the initial visit to the dealership for the rattling noise I have brought the van back two more times to try and get assistance on the squeaking noise. They can't find the source.

Today we have dropped it off for the 15,000 mile service and we told them we didn't want it back until they fixed the squeaking. My husband told them to drive it home, drive it to lunch whatever...but he wanted it fixed and it was ridiculous to have this issue on a new car.

I couldn't believe that a new van had a lot of weird noises!! The back seat was repaired a couple of times until they stopped the noise.

Sienna XLE 3.5L V6

A day after I purchased this van from the dealer(Lee's Toyota) I noticed a noise from the third row seat. I tried to fix it by putting the third row seat fold down. But didn't do any difference. Therefor I took it to the dealer to get it fixed. The sales associate who sold this van to me tried to fix it but couldn't. He suggested me to bring the to the service. Then I brought the van to the service department. Service associate Raymond told me that all 2013 sienna has 3rd row and 2nd row seat problem. He also stated that he himself also suffering with similar problem. I am driving this van with continuous noise which is unbearable. I don't know what to do? Is any one can help me to resolve this issue?
