My 2012 Sienna LE makes an annoying loud rattling noise when I drive over rough roads. If I folded the back row seats down, the noise goes away. There are still normal noises of going on rough roads that were always there since day 1 of purchase, but the loud annoying rattling noise is no longer there. This rattling noise only occurs when the seats are up and in the position for passengers to sit on.
I also noticed this after having my car rust proof at a Toyota dealership. This rattling noise was never heard off before getting rust proof done. I'm not sure if rust proofing the car was the problem or just a coincidence. Any how, the rattling noises are a problem.
