The contact owns a 2011 Toyota Sienna. The contact stated that the vehicle's windshield had a crack approximately six inches long. The vehicle was taken to riverside Toyota (131 hwy 411 E, rome, ga 30161, (706) 291-2886), but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the VIN was not included in a recall and did not offer any further assistance. The approximate failure mileage was 61,000.
The day after picking up my new 2011 Toyota Sienna minivan, I noticed a distortion across the lower 3" of the windshield. It is very distracting, as the paint stripes on the road "bend" towards the driver. It's worse at night.
The contact owns a 2011 Toyota Sienna. The contact stated that after driving in rainy weather conditions there were spots on the windshield that affected his vision. After attempting to clean the spots off of the windshield, he was unable to remove them. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer who stated that the spots are embedded within the windshield. The windshield was replaced. Approximately a week and a half later the failure recurred after driving in rainy weather conditions. The contact stated that the spots were only visible at night. The vehicle was not repaired after the windshield was replaced. The failure mileage was 46 and the current mileage was 2,950.
