I have 5 year old Sienna LE, AC was blowing warm air on driver side and rear. Suspected that the AC refrigerant is low, I have it recharge by dealer for $200. After 2 days, noticed oil leak coming from the right rear side just below the door. I inspected the source of the leak, there is a plastic cover with 3 bolts. There are 2 AC lines. Each AC line or tube have a fitting which has 1 fastener to connect to another tube. These tubes or lines are being held by a plastic mount bracket or clamp piping. The AC tube assy has part #88840D, attached to another AC piping 88840C and another 88840E. If there are 6 AC tubes, then there are 8 fittings connected to each other and being held by plastic bracket and each sealed by 1 fastener and an o-ring. The AC pipings will leak at the fittings since the fittings are not rigid enough to handle vibrations from driving on a road. In due time, the fittings will loosen and leak the refrigerant. Toyota has designed in this non-rigid failing parts. This is not a environmentally friendly vehicle when it is easy for refrigerant to leak. The cost to repair 1 piping assy 88840-08210, install new oring, labor and refrigerant is about $300-$500. Toyota should warrant this design flaw or designed in defect. Toyota owners are getting ripped off. Warning to all Sienna owners, expect to have a AC leak from this poor design.
