The van was bought in Texas, a warm weather state. Once my family moved to Colorado we began to see issues with the brake pedal during icy, snowy, or very cold weather with a mix of everything else cold weather related. When during cold weather (only in cold weather) the brake pedal will lock up and not allow the person driving to stop the van by not allowing the driver to push the pedal down to stop. Once the driver has be pushing long enough or pumping with great pressure from their leg the brake will give in and finally work (sometimes.) At times like today my wife had to drive off of the road (I-25) into the middle of median or rear end the car in front of her. This is the 3rd time its happened to her and once last year for me. Two of the three times this has happened it happened last year. We have taken it to the service center under our extended coverage twice last year after every problem and every time they say there is nothing wrong dispite what we say. Its not like we're making this up we just want our van to work right without the chance of wrecking our van or injuring someone in it. Its like the local Toyota service center in Fort Collins thinks we are full of it. Thanks Perdersen Toyota, we can see how much you care.
