Sienna XLE 3.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 260,000 miles

A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

I own this vehicle since 2015, it has 127,000 mile at the time of purchased and hitting 260,000 right now. This vehicle has issues with the tires. Vehicle has unusual tires wearing. Front tires have extreme wear from outside and rear tires have extreme wear from insides. Vehicle has been taken to more than few different alignment shops. We know there is no alignment adjustment to the rear tires and they can’t be fixed. Even the best tires last ten to fifteen thousand miles. I give up now and can’t afford replacing tires every few months dealing with unbalanced tires due to the tire wearing. I have been told to rotate the tires every five thousand mile, which doesn’t make any difference. It has been a safety concern and I have no other options other than to keep replacing tires.

Sienna CE 3.5L Engine

  • Automatic transmission
  • 48,000 miles

Have had constant problems with the tires since the car was 2 years old. Flats, on maintained highways in California, also the tire light came on a lot and was hard for even the Toyota dealership service department to clear. They said that it is a common issue. In the last couple of years I have had 3 flats. Now we have a slow leak on the driver side front tire. Even with tire rotation and balancing, uneven wear is constant on this car. Not sure what the deal is.

Sienna XLE

  • Automatic transmission
  • 29,000 miles

100 miles from home on a Sunday our run flat went flat and THERE WAS NO SPARE TIRE ON THE CAR. AAA could not help us, these tires are not repairable and we had no spare. Had to limp 10 miles on the highway to a Wal-mart, wait 2 hours for them to replace the tire. These tires were bald at 29,000 miles!

Sienna Limited

  • Automatic transmission
  • 15,600 miles

A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

My Sienna came with Bridgestone Turanza tires. Went, to have them rotated at 15,600 and the tire store wanted to replace them! I now have 18,400 and the fronts are almost bald. I don't know if it is a tire problem or if Sienna's are tire eaters. I haven't complained to Toyota yet as others have, but I guess I need to. Maybe if enough of us do......

Flaw in the design, no spare mount fro regular tires, previous class actions suits did not fix the problem. District Service Manager hides behind dealership front and makes decisions and leaves it to the service directors to tell the client bad new.. This is out third brand new toyota, and now will be our last. Looking in to another class action, anyone want to join in.

original bridgestone turanza tires were down to the cords at 17000 miles! tires were rotated at proper intervals and tire pressure was always set to specs.Toyota would not help with $ they blamed my wife's driving! oddly my ford windstars oem michelin tires lasted 55000 miles.I replaced the bridgestones with michelin Hydroedges I'm very happy with them and they have a 90000 mile wear out warranty.
