Recently had new exhaust,obd2 sensor, Evap sensor left rear wheel bearing and ignition coil and oil changed. TOTAL COST $2,300 Two weeks later went on trip to southern NY. Vehicle started to overheat. Unable to open hood as hood release cable snapped. Vehicle taken to service center in Beacon NY. They replaced thermostat. $236 The tech stated he wasn't sure if it was thermostat or radiator clogged. Drove next day. Overheating issues again. Took to a shop in Wingdale NY. They checked coolant for exhaust leaks. Diagnosis BLOWN HEAD GASKET with 4 days to fix and repairs est at $2k +. Vehicle scrapped.
