In Feb. of 2016 my Toyota Sienna started locking and unlocking while I was driving.... Eventually the sliding doors and the front passenger door locked and would not unlock. I took it to my local Toyota dealer and after taking it in,they could not get it to duplicate what I was experiencing .

It was working fine.So I left and was very upset.

After having my sliding doors and front passenger doors fixed in July 2016,

I returned just a few weeks later because the doors were locking up again and would not open with the remote or any other way...the service dept. checked it out and could not get it to duplicate the problem. So I leave once again annoyed with what had just happened.

I am really disgusted with the problem I am having once again with my Toyota Sienna

My sliding doors and front passenger door started locking up again...and would not unlock

I had friends in my van and when we stopped to get out the sliding doors would not open or the front passenger door.Because the front passenger door will open with my key,I was able to open it,but the sliding doors where my other friend was sitting would not open....and she is handicapped......I had to crawl through the rear door up to where she was seated and help her up out of her seat and crawl on the floor of the van to get out the rear door. This is dangerous and a safety hazard......Toyota has got to address this problem now !!! I bought a van so I could carry people, dogs, whatever I needed too. So I took it to the dealer onOct.10th. 2016,,,,,...the doors would not unlock for me..

When I arrived at the dealer....the servived man checked me in....he tried the remote and the sliding doors and front passenger door would not unlock.....not manually not at all.... So I left it there....the next day they called and said they could not get the doors to duplicate the problem and wanted to keep it overnight.... Oct. 11th. 2016 I got a call about my van, they said the doors were opening just fine....they wanted to keep it another day and keep checking it. On Oct. 12th. 2016 I decided to go to the dealer myself and talk to the manager.....the doors were still working and unlocking ....the manager suggested since they could not find the problem...maybe I could trade it for another van. This was totally not acceptable to me,my van runs very good......the problem with the doors needs to be fixed. If Toyota can design and build a vehicle then they should have ways to fix the problems that come up.

This is a malfunction, and a safety hazard......I want action not words.....This is not over yet until it is really fixed.
