The contact owns a 2007 Toyota Sienna. The contact stated that while using the buckle for the seat belt, the seat belt would lock but failed to release with excessive force. As a result, it became difficult to exit the vehicle. The failure recurred numerous times. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where the failure was undetermined. The technician released the seat belt however, did not replaced the seat belt. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 60,000.
The driver side seat belt won't retract back to original position and is currently loose. The dealer is charging $48 to $90 to fix. The belt is folding when being pulled and stuck in that position currently.
