Add our 2007 Toyota Sienna V6 engine to the list of Toyota's that burn oil excessively. It begins with a cylinder misfire then a multi-cylinder misfire. Adding oil every 500 miles now. Excessive smoking on start up. They really need to recall these engines and repair them for everyone.

We reported issue to Toyota from start, they flushed fuel line after the third time in and they couldn't find problem. Loud noise in Nov 2012 car wasn't accelerating properly, we had a witness to issue Toyota couldn't find it. Thick white Smoke, and all system lights on, Oil levels weren't reading despite recent oil change. Toyota claimed there were 12 quarts of oil in the engine. Car under warranty and they refused to pay for repair despite talking to corporate and dealership. I HATE THIS CAR!!!!!

I think Toyota's quality sucks! As much as a van cost these days the dam thing thing shouldn,t be smoking at 60,000 miles. You would at least like to get it paid off before the engine has problems.

I took the van to the Dealer and complained about smoke coming from exhaust at start up and randomly during driving. They said it had sludge and would not fix it (warranty) unless I provided the oil change reciepts. They have a record of 3 oil changes andI have had oil changes done by other mechanics and I have done them myself, 8 times total. I donot have reciepts for the work myself and have to find the ones done by others. Meanwhile the engine gets worse. The dealer said they would remove and clean my engine for $9000.00 or install a used engine for $6500.00 I have read about this problem that has been taken to court and now Toyota will repair earlier models but not mine...yet. To say I am pissed is an understatement and will take any and all advice. A van less than 2 yrs old and less than 34000 miles should not smoke even if I had only changed oil once.
