The contact owns a 2005 Toyota Sienna. The windshield is falling apart, the weatherstrips are detaching, and the cover directly above the hood of the vehicle is sinking underneath. The contact has not taken the vehicle to the dealer and is not driving the vehicle. The current and failure mileages were 33,000.
After purchasing a new 2005 Toyota Sienna the consumer discovered a distortion along the bottom about an inch and a half of the tinted area of the front windshield. There was a crease distortion that was distracting when driving. Concerned, the consumer took vehicle back to dealer, who discovered the distortion as well. The dealer talked to the service department and noted that the other model vehicles had this distortion on the windshield as well. No corrections or repairs were made to the windshield. The consumer contacted Toyota manufacturer and filed a compliant with the company as well.
