Problem with the passenger power door, will not close completely. Opens fine, it will get about a foot away from closing but them it reverses to the open position. I have to put a lot of pressure to get it to close all the way.

When pressing the door open on the FOB for the passenger sliding door the door would try to open but could not. The actuator went bad. The sliding door would work manually pulling the door handle but would not open using the FOB. This seems to be a reoccurring problem with the 2005 Sienna.

The power sliding door began not to close, even on level ground. Had it evaluated and found the motor was beginning to fail. Toyota eventually reimbursed us for most of the cost under the recall.

My Toyota Sienna's rear sliding doors will not open when the temperatures outside are BELOW the FREEZING level. The rear driver's side sliding door is the worst. If the car is sitting outside ( not in the garage) for several hours and it snows or there is freezing rain or it's just very cold, the doors stick as if the interior lock is malfunctioning It WILL NOT UNLOCK! The vehicle was taken in for service at the dealership on several occasions, but they COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG because the doors usually start working properly after you're driving for a while and the heat is on. If it's cold enough, they'll lock up while you're in the car and won't open.As a rear passenger, I've had to CLIMB into the front TO GET OUT of the vehicle on several ocassions. Another DEFECT that could potentially be dangerous if you had to get out quickly in an emergency. During the first few years of ownership, there were no problems during sub-zero weather. Then all of a sudden after about four years the problem started during the winter months.

Toyota has had the same problem since 2004 power sliding back doors.

Search on youtube and see BRAND NEW 3-day old clips of same problem.

Our door will lock half open. Driving with is safety problem for back seat passengers.

WHY NO RECALL??

WHY TOYOTA WILL NOT FIX MY DOORS?
