On a summer day on a long trip ( middle of a 1000 mile trip), I just stopped for refueling, after that I start my mini van, it starts and dies immediately after that. I tried starting it several times it would not. If I press the gas pedal, it is not halting. But if take off the gas pedal then it is halting. ( I had to use my two legs (one for brake and other for gas pedal) shift gear to drive, and move on. After that this problem went away. After a week it started happening again. This has happened 4 to 5 times now in the last month.

Definitely this is major issue needs to be looked into by manufacture. I can get stuck in the middle of traffic, this could led to crash /accidents & injuries.

This is big issue . .

On warm days we go and start the van and it immediately dies. If I hold down the accelerator it may reset the problem and I can drive away. Other times as soon as I let off the gas pedal to put the car in gear it dies again. I have noticed this problem happens on warm days or after driving short trips and the engine is warm. It has been doing this for several years now and is getting worse. I have taken it to the dealership and been told, "well it is not doing it now, so we cannot tell what the problem is." There are no warning lights or anything it just dies. I am looking for a fix to this problem before the car leaves me stranded somewhere. Please help.
