Bought a brand new 2014 Sequoia after trading in a Sequoia I had for 6+ years. After driving Sequoia around town we noticed that the car is very loud when it is running at 1800rpm. Took it back to dealership and they agreed it was very loud. They could not figure out what problem was and opened a case with Toyota Corp. Toyota reported back that there is nothing wrong with my vehicle. They stated the 2014 has a brand new different engine and transmission than previous models and the sound is normal for the vehicle.
We believe there is something wrong with the car, but are not getting any help from dealership or Toyota Corp. it appears we are stuck with a luxury vehicle we cannot stand to drive.
