Received notice of recall for front passenger airbag in May 2015; Toyota has still not resolved the problem and recommended no use of front passenger seat because of safety. It is now ~8 months later and no resolve. Also, tailgate wipers, window and wiper fluid system not operational (since 2008) despite all good fuses in 4 compartments.
I bought my 2006 Sequoia used from a dealer. Shortly after buying it I noticed the brake light on the dashboard would come on intermittently. I have brought it to the dealers attention & they say they can not duplicate it & everything appears to be fine with the brakes. It is still happening. My rear wiper, window & defrost system have failed several times. At first I took it to the dealership & they said the window must not have been up the whole way & it was now working. It continued to go in and out, but now they have failed completely.. I have checked the fuses & they are fine. I have taken it to the dealership & they said they do not see anything immediately wrong with it and will need to investigate it further, but that will cost a lot more. I saw several other people have had the same or similar problems so I thought I should add my experience to the list.
