The contact owns a 2005 Toyota Sequoia SR5. The contact stated that the rear hatch back lock could not be opened or locked from the outside or inside of the vehicle. The automatic key fob was also inoperable. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer. The manufacturer was notified who stated that there were no recalls for the vehicle and offered no assistance. The failure mileage was 140,000.
