Toyota advertises a remote starter function through its RemoteConnect interface, however, there is a current time-out issue with the app and it is unable to communicate with the vehicle. Toyota is aware of this issue but has not committed to any kind of resolution.
Update from Sep 28, 2020: Two visits to the dealerships resulted in software updated, but problem is still occuring.
