I placed 5 60 pound bags of cement on the rear deck of the RAV4. When I arrived home, the rear deck board was completely bucked and off its 2 side supports. Now the rear deck board does not fit properly. One should be told by Toyota that you can not place more than 180 lbs. on the rear deck.
This item should be addressed by Toyota and corrected. A thicker rear deck board is needed along with additional support underneath the board. What was the designer thinking? Does not one haul things in the rear of a RAV4? What about placing heavy suitcases on the deck board?!
