There is a class action suit filed for this part. My mechanic gave me a report for a recall number 20TA04. THE DEALER INSISTS THAT I have to pay out of pocket for the part. I have had warm liquid drop on my feet while driving with ac on. The dealer said my roof rail caused the leak on my foot and that was where the fluid came from. The bypass valve is bad and the leak could be from that bad valve as well.

This problem should be recalled by toyota. Beaman Toyota of Nashville were quoting me $840 to replace the coolant bypass valve. This issues is very widespread among Rav4 2019 owners. I am an avid Toyota buyer as they are normally so reliable, but this issue seems to have majorly fallen through the cracks.
