I have the same issue with dash panel indicators - they were showing malfunctions on airbag, abs, etc. It showed that all computer systems were malfunctioning. I drove immediately to the dealer. Inspection showed that the wire harness on the vehicle had been chewed apart, off, and insulation had been removed. I did tell them that after I bought the car I brought it to the shop to install the remote starter. Now the dealer claims that they cut some wires and it caused the problem. I called one of the technicians from the place that installed the starter. He came to the dealer and did all kinds of the tests. After all that he cannot finds what caused the problem. My vehicle has only has 1000 miles on it. A few years ago I came to the same place to install the stater for my Toyota Sienna 2006. Until now I didn't have any kind of problem with the van. Can this be investigated? We've had several Toyota vehicles in the past and did not have any wire harness problems.
