I purchased my BRAND NEW Rav4-Adventure in 2018 and have done regular maintenance on it as recommended. This past summer (08/2021) I got a full service done with two new tires, tire rotation, new brakes, new brake pads, etc. Then, once rainy season hit Oregon, water started puddling up in the passenger side flooring. I cleaned it up thinking I had spilled a water bottle because, why the f**k would a two year old car have a major leak in it especially after just having gotten a major servicing? It came back the next day so I took it into the Toyota service center.
FUN FACT: Apparently they didn't take ANY photos of the damage after they quoted me $1,100.00 to fix it (AFTER I had told them I wanted to run this through insurance).
Now, my insurance may not cover the damages and they've had my car for over 4 days. Honestly, if there are so many complaints that are similar to this issue being the "AC duct clogging", why has Toyota not resolved this after almost 6 years of model "improvements"?
I'm SUPER dissatisfied with my BRAND NEW Rav4/Adventure and Toyota in general. This is the first time purchasing a car outside of Honda and I am NOT happy I left Honda.
