Warning Light Did Not Come On
2013 Toyota RAV4
This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Toyota dealer.
CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013 RAV4's top complaint is that the navigation screen is impossible to see in direct sunlight.
While certainly an annoyance, it's not a big deal in the world of car problems. Luckily the fix is a $10 anti-glare screen cover.

This is a safety issue here. Toyota dealer where I bought this Rav4 and have the regular service maintenance done, and have them checked for a detailed diagnostics check after the car stalled. I asked their service department why the computer didn't warn me of an issue of the oil leaking which caused the car to stall. The warning light didn't come on to alert me of the issue. They can't give an answer, the guy just said "I don't know why it didn't warn, why the warning light did not come on." I told him this is a safety issue because what if this will happen again in the future and it could be worse. He told me he understands my concern but I need to talk to the warranty manager about it. This is a real pain in the ass! A real bummer! This is all I could get from them, that they cant give me an answer. As an owner I am not comfortable driving this rav4 anymore until they can give me an answer why the warning light did not come on and an assurance that this won't happen again.if they can't give an answer why the warning light did not come on, how can they be sure that this won't happen again? Where is safety here?
