CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013 RAV4's top complaint is that the navigation screen is impossible to see in direct sunlight.
While certainly an annoyance, it's not a big deal in the world of car problems. Luckily the fix is a $10 anti-glare screen cover.

I noticed the noise when I moved to California in the end of 2015. I then took my car in for oil change. I asked the dealer for any recall on the brakes and they told me no. I explained to them of what were going on on my car. They told me they will check the brakes for free for me. They found nothing and advised me to come back again if the noise didn't go away.
The issue continue on. I wait til my next oil change again and check it. They told me they couldn't find any issue. but it seems like there is dust built up on the brake and they will blow it for me for free. The issue still not solved. The noise even got worse. I went in and complained again the next 2 more oil changes. Due to they couldn't find anything wrong and I kept complaining about the noise, they told me I need new rotors. They told me it will cost about $500.00. I don't know much about cars, so I told them no. $500 is a lot of money and my car is still under the protection that I bought with the car with.
I believed that I complained too much and they just gave me excuses, so I never got my car fixed. It is very annoying. Now I just ignore it. At least I complained to the dealer. If in the future something wrong, I am sure I will sue them.
