The contact owns a 2011 Toyota Rav4. The contact was driving 50-55 mph when the brakes were applied and the brake pedal felt loose, became stick. The vehicle was taken to three dealerships where a diagnostic was performed and all three dealers were unable to locate a failure code. The vehicle was also test driven but the failure was unable to be duplicated. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 4,991 and the current mileage was 8,613.....updated 06/18/12 the consumer stated the brakes were spongy and the bas did not engage the distance to stop vehicle.
