Extremely scary brake failure while driving in the mountains. Brake pedal would engage the brakes at first but if you lifted slightly and re-applied the pedal would go to the floor. This vehicle only has 26,000 highway miles and brake failure at speed in the mountains is not an option. Rav4's also have a design flaw with the brake pedal going to far to the floor and allowing your brake foot to sometimes engage the gas pedal. (Also not an option while in traffic at any speed).
