Purchased vehicle with $4100 Navigation Radio on it. On left hand side of MSRP it indicates unit comes with XM Satellite Radio. On the face plate of the radio it says "AM-SAT" which would lead the average consumer to believe the radio comes equipped with Satellite Radio. The Salesman advised us that the vehicle not only came with XM Radio but it came with a 90 day free subscription which is also indicated on the left hand side of the MSRP. At delivery the salesman gave us a CD that he said would explain how to hook up the XM Satellite Radio. We didn't even look at it for 30 days because of other issues we were dealing with. When we finally looked at it we discovered there was no XM Radio at all. We went back to the dealer (Hiland Toyota in Moline Illinois) and they said 'Too Bad', we never said it was on the vehicle. We called Toyota customer service (which is like talking to a grade school cheerleader) and they advised they could not overturn the decision of the dealership (they play the old independent franchise routine). So, with an MSRP that clearly indicates the radio is on the vehicle, a face place on the radio that is printed "AM-SAT" and an XM instruction CD,,,we are launching a lawsuit. If we win, we have determined it will set 'precedent' and anyone else in this situation should be entitled to the same recovery.
