The contact owns a 2010 Toyota Rav4. While driving at approximately 25 mph, the tire pressure warning light illuminated. The contact noticed that the front passenger side tire was flat. The contact also stated that the rims would separate from the tire and detach. The failure recurred multiple times. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the failure could not be duplicated; however, the rim was replaced but the failure recurred multiple times. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 30,000. The VIN was unavailable.
2010 Toyota Rav4 limited edition. The low pressure light comes on in the dashboard when all four tires are properly inflated. Tri county Toyota blamed it on the tire pressure in the spare. This problem is recurring and causes one to second guess their tires. They do not have a solution to fix this problem.
