The contact owns a 2010 Toyota Rav4. The contact stated that his passenger weighs 78 pounds and whenever she was in the passenger seat the air bag light failed to engage. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who stated that the person sitting in the front seat should be 80 pounds or more before the air bag light would illuminate. They also were unable to adjust the seat in any manner regarding the air bag light in order to activate the on position. The manufacturer stated that she was not the correct weight and offered no assistance. The failure mileage was 9,300. Updated 01/14/11 updated 02/02/11
