i started having this oil issue shortly before the Covid started. Since then I have not driven my car often but continue to have to add oil. I am very dismayed to hear that Toyota never sent a notice to consumers and that they only sent a TSB.

I have been scared several times with my Toyota Rav4 with it using excessive amounts of oil. I have to check it way more often than I should and almost ran out of oil in the middle of a 200 KM without services. HUGE hassle.

I had a Toyota Corolla & a 1998 4 Runner that were both reliable dependable and ran for close to 400,000 Miles. Awesome. So I decided to get a Rav4 08 @68.000 miles. The oil light would go on right at 1,200 before a car should need a change. Our mechanic told us that it burns to much oil. By the time I needed the 100,000 mile service, it was out of warranty for many issues. I can't afford a new engine and so frustrated on this Rav4. Please Help!!!!!!!

Driving my rav 4 down the rd and oil start leaking from the under the dashboard. got a napkin and wiped it up took it to be looked at. they said nothing wrong that they couldn't tell me where it came from..
