My rav 4 battery cut off side the road my light came on for the battery so I bought a battery .still would not start up took it too walker and jones in waycross ga.they told me some wires had burnt .and too replace them it would be 373.00 dollars .if they don't run into both In else. after ordering the wires they can me a few days later said the alternator was gone and it was gonna be a close to a thousand dollars.I ask them to check on the recalls for the electrical. they said they would but still charge me. I didn't burn no wires up so can somebody tell me what cause this problem and will it happen again I have read some of the recalls where rava 4 2008 have caught on fire I am so disappoint in this vehicle it's one thing after another I have taken it to recalls at walker and jones apparently they didn't find anything wrong..why was it put on the machine .
