The contact owns a 2007 Toyota Rav4. While driving 65 mph the front passenger tire blew out. She drove onto the emergency lane to change the tires and was able to drive the vehicle home. There were damages to the front windshield, extensive damages to the door and side of the vehicle which cost $5,000 to repair. The tire was manufactured by yokohama, tire line was geolandar, size 235/55/R18. The insurance company will repair the vehicle and the tire. The manufacturer was notified and a claim was filed. They also informed her to mail the tires back to them. The failure mileage was 31,000.
My wife was traveling on interstate 79 and the passenger side front tire failed. The tire tread had separated from the sidewalls. The tires are yokohama geolander P225/65/17 G91A.
07 Toyota rav 4 has had "pull to left" problem since purchased 6-07. Been to dealer twice for this and still cannot correct. They say it has been corrected. They found alignment. Problem 10-07, but just X-rotated tires 3-08 and said was corrected.
