Have you ever heard the sound of a creaky old mattress where the springs squeak and groan? Well welcome to my daily drive. The inside of my 2.5 year old driver's seat sounds just like that. To start, I only weigh 145lbs., so let's not think that I am crushing the seat or anything. Every time I get in my car it creaks, and then as I am driving slowly through rough back streets on a bumpy road all you hear is the creak/squeak coming from my seat. I have owned some pretty old cars in my life and never had a problem like this. This is just one of many problems I have listed and as usual I am getting the run-around about getting it fixed. They are telling me they can't order a new seat because they don't sell them. This means they are going to rip my new seats apart and pull the springs out, replace the springs, re-wrap the springs in foam and put the entire thing back together. This is exactly what I want them to do on my new car. You would think that $30,000 could get you a car with decent fit and finish and fewer problems. All I know is that as soon as this car is paid off I am going to be going back to driving a Subaru Forester, my last one had fewer problems at 100,000 miles.
