The first time the factory radio went the display gave all kinds of symbols and then faded away, very soon after that the volume maxed out (remember the base speaker in the back door) ouch. The dealer could not duplicate the problem and told use to go away. We left the dealer and 2 miles later it did it again, this time we beared it and returned to the dealer. They replaced to radio under warranty 2 days later. I picked up the vehicle and the new radio failed completely within 10 minutes. I returned it to the dealer again and it was replaced the second time. Sense then we have found that when the dash gets hot from the sun or from the heater the display blanks out. If we still have the vehicle after the warranty has expired we will put in an aftermarket radio. Due to other problems the vehicle will more then likely go away.
