I have a RAV4 1998 bought last year used from Japan, it came with a problem that no mechanic here is able to fix. The problem is when I drive, especially during the evening with lights on, after few miles drive the odometer display disappears and check engine light comes on and overdrive light blinking. After that it does not change gear until after some time, then it changes and drives normally but odometer still not displaying and check engine light on and overdrive light blinking. Please assist, what can be the problem here?
