When driving at night, there is a horizon across the windshield... a black line. You can see below the line, but not above it unless you have on high beams. It's a very thin area of visibility. You cannot see to go around a curve in the road unless you turn on your high beams. This only happens when you are driving on a road with no street lights and no other lighting. If there is another car coming, you cannot dim your lights until that car's lights light up your section of road. This is very dangerous and very scary.
I contacted my dealer and they said they had never heard of such a thing. I contacted the service department to get my headlights adjusted, hoping this would help, and they said that this visibility is normal. I am demanding that my headlights be raised and hope that my headlight beams will not smack other drivers in the face. I am afraid to drive at night! I have been driving for 45 years and have NEVER been afraid to drive!
