A few weeks ago, at around 10pm, when I was driving on the freeway, my car-??s engine temperature warning light suddenly on. The next day, I immediately sent my car to the dealer for a check up, the report stated -??-?? coolant reservoir very low. Pressure tested system found exhaust center pipe leaking coolant internally-??-??. I was surprised by the problem as I only drove this car for around 3.5 years with 70,000 miles, after talking with friends and doing research, I just realized that was problems for many Toyota owners. I was told by the dealer, the total cost for repair is over $2000 as my warranty had already expired. I believed this is the problem of Toyota, as the part is at flaw and the sudden overheating of engine is really scary. It might endanger people life and property.
At low speeds when the windows are down and music is playing on the internal speakers, it can drown out the pedestrian warning sound making it impossible for pedestrians to hear
Prius stalls in the rain despite not being a recalled model. Pcs sensor is aftermarket, pedestrian warning alert noise is offline, suspension is cracked, engine makes creaking noise at low speed turning. I worked for Toyota as a salesperson and they really took advantage of me.
I bought a brand new 2019 Prius from the dealership that I work at. Only a month later, the pre collision system started become unavailable and the engine started making a loud cranking noise. I took it to Toyota and they told me that the pcs milimetre wave sensor was missing from the car. They also did not want to fix the engine problem or even look into it despite still having warranty left.
Toyota Prius 2019 can only change its map mode freeway exit inset while driving at 55 mph. I must take my eyes off the road to find and press the correct buttons on the navigation screen. Seems to be a problem with all generation 4 Prius's. you cannot change it when parked. The picture shows the options when parked.
