The Toyota 2016 Prius has a protective plastic guard under the chasis. The guard itself seems to be very flimsy. I drove over a puddle of water that was may be about .5 inches of water at 20-25 mph and it seems to have ripped the guard. It's just unacceptable that a part could be so flimsy especially under the chasis that could break just by water splashing. I could not find the part anywhere online and the dealer ship charges $275 for each (two required) and close to $200 for labor, it's super easy to fix as long as you can jack up the car. This is something that Toyota should fix asap. Make the part available online and establish a crash rating for the part itself.
