Don't let anyone in service tell you it's your type phone that is causing your entune system to lock up and in my case drops pairing and says "bluetooth off" and does not allow you to tap to turn bluetooth back on. My car is a 2015 Prius Three and only has 2,700 miles on it. I have been messing with this prpblem for a month. I choose the Prius Three because I wanted bluetooth, backup camera and navigation. I can hook up any phones - the problem is they drop internet connection and screen sticks on bluetooth off and will not allow you to change. The service tech says yes, we're going to have to replace the "head" on entune and that they had seen plenty of them with the same problem. That wasn't good enough for his manager so a tech specialist had to verify I needed a new head. He kept setting up my phone and said "see it's working". I said "good. Let's turn the car off and see if it still does. We did and it still did, however, I said let's turn on Pandora- Bam! Bluetooth off! " yeah, I could delete everything and repair phone but the connection with bluetooth would not stay on. THERE IS SOMETHING DEFECTIVE IN THE ENTUNE SYSTEM. I will report after the head is replaced. But folks, search the I ternet, everyone is having prpblems and are being told it's their phone when it's Entune. If service deletes your settings and pairs your phone and says it's running. Restart your car and try to access your Iheart or Pandora radio. Bet your bluetooth turns off. I've read too many problems people are having and being told it's their phone when Entune's head is defective. Don't replace your phone. That's crazy. Toyota Entune needs to come forward and tell the people they have a defective bluetooth system. A recall on all tjose defective systems should be made. And if the head replacement doesn't work, I will still be causing trouble until my new 2015 Prius Three with 2,700 miles has a sufficient bluetooth system. IT IS NOT YOUR PHONES FAULT. DO NOT BUY INTO IT. TOYOTA HAS EVEN ADMITTED IN CERTAIN YEARS THE SYSTEM WAS DEFECTIVE. IF YOUR PHONE GETS PAIRED. TURN YOUR CAR OFF AND TRY TO CONNECT TO THE FEATURES. IT WON'T HAPPEN. IT LOSES THE CONNECTION. IT IS NOT YOUR PhONES FAULT. I PAID A LOT OF MONEY TO HAVE THAT ENTUNE SYSTEM IN MY CAR AND I EXPECT IT TO WORK. YOU SHOULD, TOO!
