I went to Autozone & they gave me a code C1391. I went to the dealer ( AutoNation Tempe ) and showed them the class suite and the recall, which was mentioned everywhere on the net; they refused to discuss fixing the issues and asked me to pay the money of $3300 to get the issue fixed. Lease let me know how I get in touch with Toyota to resolve this issue.
This is a significant safety issue. I almost crashed because of this brake defect. I can't afford to get it fixed for $4,000 dollars. I can't believe the federal government allows this and Toyota does not care. I never got a notice of recall and now they say its too late. The booster is obviously defective!!!!!!!
TOYOTA already knew it, but they didn't recall all of them, only picked some models.
I brought it to the local dealer, they said they can hear and see the problem, but TOYOTA won't cover if the code not on.
QUESTION is: right now it's harder to brake the car, I have to drive it slowly to make sure I can stop it. It's really danger to let so many braking system failure car running outside.

Toyota has a Customer Support Program (ZJB) but I didn't receive a notification and I missed both primary and secondary coverage criterias.
