I have never seen lights degrade and fog up so fast. There is a recall on the "bulbs" and the harness. I have replaced the bulbs 5 times and cussed my way though everyone of them! The dealer had the nerve to tell me it was MY FAULT they were turning colors because I used the cleaner on them and I informed him they changed colors in 2 years. 322.00 per light PLUS installation at Roberts Toyota dealership in Manchester, TN. He told me my car was not on the recall list for the lights only the bulbs. I told him the lights SUCKED and he knew it. Every Prius I see on the road has the same problem. We got to the point we could not see at night to drive the car.

Both headlights don't turn on. However, if I press and hold the lever for bright, the brights will work. I did some research online and learned that this is an expensive fix.

The headlights are extremely weak and I have to use the high beams to see anything at night. This is very unsafe.

My 2011 Prius low beam headlights burn out one a month. A lot of the time the headlight isn't burnt out it just stops working. This has been an ongoing problem for the past 3 years!!! It is very annoying and expensive and dangerous!!

I own a 2011 Toyota Prius which I purchased in November of that year from Arlington Toyota in Arlington, VA. Since that time I have had to replace the headlights three times. The evening after I had the car undergo its 2014 yearly inspection, both low beam headlights would not function. I returned the car to Arlington Toyota and was told both beams were burned out. I refused to pay for them to replace the headlights given their high charges but had another automotive organization replace the headlights. I thought this was only happenstance that both beams would go simultaneously and right after the car was inspected. This was to become on on-going problem which I report in another complaint.
