My car is full of mice all the time. Take any trash out of car? Done. Moth balls? Done. Yuck; toxic. Irish Spring? Done. Only effective for a while.
Love the Prius, but don't love sharing it with mice and have read many stories of others with the same problem, which could be fixed by Toyota with some barriers, but they refuse to address. Yes, I have cats that are good hunters and, no, I'm not parked next to a wood pile.
Update from Feb 6, 2022: UPDATE: Traded in Prius for Honda. No mice at all. Food in the car, next to the bird feeder, see them all the time, etc. So this proves it's unique to Toyota and fixable. Greedy Toyota with zero integrity.
