Toyota used soy based wiring and looks like the rodents in my neighborhood like to chew on them...
So far have spent over $1000.00 in diagnostics to solve this and Toyota Dealer here in Cambridge just keeps billing me and never fixing the problem... Mechanic has suggested I scrap the car. So I should cut my loses and scrap my car and hide all the evidence and negligence and free Toyota of of taking responsibility for this design flaw all at my expense and safety... LOL. Thanks Toyota...
Hard to believe YouTube has videos on all the common areas that a mouse enters and chews wires and a Hybrid Mechanic at the dealership hooks up the car to a computer $125 (my Cost twice now) and then can not narrow it down with a visual to the compromised area. Absolutely beyond me... The only possibility I can think of is they don't want to fix it. Honestly...
