My 2010 Prius broke down on Sunday night with all the brake system indicators going on. The manual said to stop driving because the brakes may stop working. Yikes. Midas couldn't fix it, so I took it to a dealership. This is what needs to get done: "REPLACE SKID ECU BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY". It costs $3000, not including labor. I have a major issue with this, as the Prius is not a cheap car to begin with (& I'm still paying it off), and this is not a common issue or something that is normal wear and tear. It is a defective electrical component and my car just happened to draw that lottery ticket. I've lodged a complaint with Toyota national.
