It's pretty ridiculous that I can't fill my gas tank beyond 7 gallon when its a 10 gallon tank. As soon as I hit 150k miles I couldn't fill it up anymore. I spend 15 minutes getting 7 gallons because if the gas moves too quickly into the tank it the pump shuts off and I can't get ANY gas. Toyota should be ashamed of themselves for knowing that this has been a problem since 2008 and not recalling. I won't buy another one.
Ever since I purchased this car -new- have had issue with gas tank not filling. Constantly cuts off the pump so have to "hand pump" gas in. Have brought up the subject multiple times with dealers and during routine maintenance. Was told originally and by several dealers that it is a problem in the way Japanese make the car so just have to live with it. Well I let it ride for number of years, Fool that I am. No longer believe that but am finding that Toyota knows very little about their own vehicles. See my other complaints.
