The brakes grab only in damp weather conditions. Car always garaged, and if damp out, the brakes will grab backing out of the garage the minute you start to apply the brakes. Putting the wheel and brakes in water do not make the brake grab, Only damp weather. If you start out in dry weather the brakes are OK, but drive into damp conditions and the brakes will start garbing every time you touch the brake peddle. The brakes come on hard and will slide the car. You have to drive slow an be light footed.
While driving at slower speeds and you apply the brake and at the same time hit a bump the brake will release and you will feel a faster forward motion even though you have the brake peddle down. The brake will release for a second and then reapply itself. Very spooky when you come up behind another car and have to apply the brake and hit a bump in the road at same time and car lunges forward.
