paint cracking

I have owned several Toyotas in the past 25 years but I have never encountered a paint condition like this. Apparently there are many more cars out there with paint peeling and rusting. Car manufacturers need to provide a better paint protection for the vehicles we buy. $$$$$$$

Vehicle owners with this problem should be compensated with a voucher to cover the repaint costs.

Do we need to have a class action lawsuit to achieve this?

The manager of the service department said they would ask what I felt would be fair. I felt 100% would be fair. He said they would not pay that because of the miles on my car and sun damage. I asked why then was the paint 1/4 inch away was not cracked. He asked again what I felt would be fair, as they would not pay 100%. I said 75% being sure they would go for 50% or less. Which what he came back with I when to a company in Mobile close to the Toyota dealership for a price. Their price was around $700.
