Paint on this car started to fail very early on. Constant paint chips on the front bumper the hood nearby. Escalated to clear coat failure on nearly all horizontal surfaces.
See the attached pics. It's a very extensive failure, but it much more reminiscent of the problem with 2010 Corollas (a VERY common problem among them). I have seen a few other Matrixes with the problem, though, so it's not isolated.
