I owned 2000 Toyota Land cruiser. The front hood came down hard while I was checking the level of the engine oil. The lift cylinders ( 10 years old / 2000 model..) are not be able to hold the weight of the hood. And the hood came down hard on my head while I was checking the engine oil level... the lift cylinders of the engine hood should be recalled for the safety reason....
