The contact owns a 1998 Toyota Land cruiser. While servicing the vehicle, the contact noticed that part of the frame was corroded. The contact also stated that the cross member that attached near the suspension mount and transmission cross member and the frame rail were all corroded through. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 130,000. The VIN was not available.
