The contact stated that the treadwear on the original tires were wearing at an alarming rate. The contact stated that while driving on wet surfaces, the tires performed like driving on ice. The vehicle was taken to a tire dealer who inspected the treadwear and quoted the treadwear at 7/32nds when they should be replaced at 4/32nds. The contact called the tire manufacturer and was informed that warranty coverage for the tires were not covered by the tire manufacturer.
